McLaren Fernando Alonso finishes 10th and in the points in front of a brilliant crowd at Silverstone.

Lap 52/52: 1 Lewis Hamilton 2 Nico Rosberg 3 Sebastian Vettel. It was
touch as go for Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton at the start but the veteran
ultimately triumphed at Silverstone to win his home 2015 British GP.
Team mate Nico Rosberg, who struggled early on, claimed the second
podium spot followed by Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel in third. Williams'
Felipe Massa drove a fantastic race though the rain saw him drop from
first to fourth place. Silverstone also saw six drivers retire, five of
which before lap 6!

Williams have missed out on a podium finish despite an incredible start to the British GP when they lead with a 1-2.

Lap 40/52: 1 Lewis Hamilton 2 Felipe Massa 3 Nico Rosberg. Mercedes'
Lewis Hamilton continues to dominate though the Williams'Felipe Massa
remains close behind in second. What a great race from him! It looks to
be a very different race for the last 12 laps as rain hits Silverstone.
Many teams have already changed tyres. Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz was
forced to retire ending the team's Silverstone run.

Lap 30/52: 1 Lewis Hamilton 2 Felipe Massa 3 Valtteri Bottas - Lewis
Hamilton leads the pack followed by both Williams drivers. Hamilton''s
team mate Nico Rosberg remains in fourth. Hamilton is told he is racing
until the end and there is a threat of rain in about 30 minutes. Red
Bull's Daniel Riccardo is the sixth driver to retire from the race.

Lap 20/52: 1 Massa, 2 Bottas, 3 Hamilton - What an exciting race so far!
Five drivers taken out in as many laps. Meanwhile the Williams pair
continue to hold their own against Mercedes. Bottas is clearly the
faster of the two though Massa continues to lead. Will this be race to
topple Merc's dominance in 2015?
