HOMECOMING: Narain Karthikeyan will get some seat time at the Singapore GP in preparation for the 2011 Indian F1 GP.
Narain Karthikeyan, let go by HRT in favour of Daniel Ricciardo, will rejoin the team for practice ahead of the 2011 Singapore F1 GP before racing in the inaugural Indian GP.
HRT team principal Colin Kolles said it was great to have Narain back in the car as it would give him seat time before the Indian GP.
"He is the best driver to come out of the region and is undoubtedly extremely talented as he has proved through his progress this season," he said.
LOOKING FORWARD TO HOME GP
Karthikeyan said it was a great feeling to drive on a grand prix weekend and is looking forward to driving at his home GP.
"On the subject of my home Grand Prix of India, the team had assured me that I'd be driving when I stepped out of my seat after the European GP."
The 2011 Indian F1 GP will be held on October 30 at the 5.14km Buddh International circuit in Greater Noida on the outskirts of New Delhi.
