Vettel is chasing his eighth pole of the season while Red Bull are after their 13th in 14 races.
Belgium was the team's 17th pole, one more than now-departed champions Benetton managed.
Only two teams have ever managed more than 12 poles in a single season - McLaren with 15 in 1988 and 1989 and Williams with 15 in 1992 and 1993. Williams hold the record for successive poles, with 24 in a row in 1992/93.
Ferrari were last on pole in Brazil in 2008, 30 races ago.
Front row
Red Bull have locked out the front row in six races this season. They have also started the last 17 races with at least one car on the front row.
World champion Button has not qualified on the front row since Turkey in June last year.
Monza

The driver on pole position has won seven of the last 10 races at the Milanese circuit.
Michael Schumacher (with Ferrari in 2000 and 2003) is the only driver in the last 19 seasons to win at Monza and go on to take the championship that year.
The last Italian driver to win at Monza was Ludovico Scarfiotti with Ferrari in 1966. The last to win in Italy was Riccardo Patrese at Imola in 1990.
