PARIS, France - Force India has become the first Formula 1 team to reveal its car for the 2014 season. Well, a glimpse, anyway...
The team released a single photograph of its VJM07 on its official website.
The new cars, to be driven by Sergio Perez, dropped by McLaren after one season, and Nico Hulkenberg have been painted in traditional Indian colours of saffron, white and green on a black background.
‘FIERCE NEW LOOK
Team boss Vijay Mallya said: "I've always believed our cars have been the most eye-catching but adding black as a main colour gives us a fierce new look. The VJM07 looks stunning and the new livery reflects the way Sahara Force India is evolving."
Force India, along with its rivals (except Lotus), will start testing at Spain's Jerez circuit on January 28 2014.Further internet glimpses of 2014 models are expected from McLaren, Ferrari and Sauber.
Red Bull, Mercedes and Caterham are waiting until the start of testing to roll out their new models.
The 2014 season will see a sweeping set of rule changes and start in Melbourne, Australia on March 16.
