SOWETO, South Africa - Ferrari's F60 Formula 1 car has arrived at Soccer City near Soweto, prior to a street demo at V-Power Nitro+ fuel event in February.
EXPECT PLENTY OF NOISE
Ferrari test driver Marc Gene will drive the car the team used in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2009.
The F1 Clienti department crew arrived in South Africa on Friday (Feb 14) and checked the temporary circuit prepared by the organisers. The circuit is just under 1.5km long and some work was done to the area to allow a pits lane.
Gene arrives in Johannesburg on Saturday morning (Feb 15) and the test driver’s programme also involves a visit to the Nelson Mandela Museum in Soweto.
