F1 statistics: Canadian GP

June 8 - Formula 1  statistics for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.

WINS

Ferrari have won 215 races in Formula 1, McLaren 170, Williams 113 and champions Red Bull 20.

Michael Schumacher holds the record for victories by a driver, with 91. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso has the second most among current drivers (26). One more by the Spaniard would take him level with Britain's Jackie Stewart.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel have each won 15 races and McLaren's Jenson Button nine.

Vettel's win in Monaco was his fifth in six races this season and eighth in the last 10.

POLE POSITION

Vettel has been on pole in five of the six races this season. Red Bull have been on pole in all of them, with Australian Mark Webber taking the top slot in Spain.

Vettel now has 20 career poles, putting him level with Alonso and 1996 champion Damon Hill. Schumacher holds the record of 68.

Red Bull's run of poles extends back to last season and the team have started the last seven races from that position.

The record for successive poles by a constructor was set by Williams with 24 in 1992/93.

McLaren's last pole position was with Hamilton in Canada last June.

Ferrari's last was with Alonso in Singapore last September.

QUALIFYING

Vettel has started the last 11 races from the front row.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa, Team Lotus' Jarno Trulli and HRT's Narain Karthikeyan have been outqualified by their team mates in every race so far in 2011 (although neither HRT driver took part in Monaco qualifying).

RACE FASTEST LAP

Webber has set the fastest lap in four of the season's six races so far.

CANADA

Michael Schumacher has won seven times in Canada, more than any other driver. The only country where any driver has won more times is France, with Schumacher chalking up eight wins between 1994 and 2006.

Schumacher has been on the podium in Montreal 12 times in 16 starts there.

Only four of the last 12 races in Canada have gone with pole position.

McLaren's Hamilton has raced three times in Canada, been on pole three times and won twice. In 2007, the circuit gave him his first Grand Prix win.

Ferrari have won 11 times in Canada, but not since 2004.

Red Bull have only once finished on the podium in Montreal, a third place with David Coulthard in 2008.

POINTS

Former champions Williams finally scored their first points of the season in Monaco. Team Lotus, Hispania (HRT) and Virgin Racing have yet to score a point in Formula 1 since their debuts in Bahrain last year.
