LONDON, England - Red Bull's appeal against Daniel Ricciardo's exclusion from the season-opening 2014 Australian Formula 1 GP will be heard by the sport's governing body in Paris on April 14 2014.
A statement from the International Automobile Federation on Friday (March 21) named the date - the Monday before the 2014 Chinese GP, the fourth round of the season.
INACCURATE METER?
Ricciardo was disqualified from second in his home race in Melbourne on March 16 when stewards ruled that the fuel-flow rate on his car did not compy with the regulations.
Red Bull, F1 champion for four consecutive years to 2013, has argued that the flow meter provided by the governing body was inaccurate.
Should the disqualification be upheld McLaren's Danish rookie Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button will be confirmed as second and third behind Mercedes' race-winner Nico Rosberg
