At the Geneva Motor Show currently underway, Audi announced its decision to shoehorn a 6-litre V12 TDI engine into its Q7 SUV.

Is there still a place for large displacement engines (even diesels) when the "green race" is pushing other manufacturers towards the development of fuel cells and petrol or diesel hybrids instead?
