This new Volvo cabrio, dubbed the C50, to is be designed in conjunction with Italian styling house Pininfarina.
Insiders say that the C50 will have a metal retractable roof and will share its underpinnings with the S40.
Volvo will be responsible for most of the C50's design, while Pininfarina will handle product and process engineering, for prototype construction and vehicle testing.
The new S40 sedan will be launched in South Africa in June
