The ASA Transcontinental Free State 500 will see drivers from the US, Australia, Brazil, Great Britain and South Africa compete against each other in the 500-km race around the 2.5-km banked super oval.

Six South Africans will compete in Sunday's race. They are seasoned race drivers Johan Spies, Johan Cronje, Johan Coetzer, Gugu Zulu, and brothers Jaco and Danie Correia.

Bloody hel! Now that's an event I would've liked to attend. Tickets (even the more expensive ones) are quite reasonable, and I guarantee you the sound of those engines will have the hair on your neck stand up!

SABC definitely won't show this because they are useless, but I haven't seen anything from SS. Is there a chance they might show it?
