Michael Schumacher has refused to shed any further light on sizzling speculation about his future.
With supporting comments from Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport is suggesting that - while 37-year-old Schumacher is decided about 2007 - he is hesitant in meeting Ferrari's desire for a two-year deal.
Montezemolo said: "He knows that if he wants to stay for two years then we will agree.
"He is assessing whether he will still want to race ... in 2008."
But Germany's Schumacher, who tested until Friday at Paul Ricard last week, also told the 'paper that there is 'nothing new' to report regarding his contract with the red team.
