Johannesburg - The South African Guild of Motoring Journalists has announced the candidates for the 2007 Car of the Year competition (COTY).
The announcement was made at the Auto Africa Motor Show on Thursday evening.
There are eight finalists for the COTY competition and judging will take place in January.
The winner of the award will be announced in March 2007.
