Yamaha Rhino back in SA's wild

The iconic Yamaha Rhino, the original and benchmark in side-by-side quad motorcycles, is once again available for purchase in SA after a layoff of a number months caused by production related delays.

The Yamaha Rhino is renowned for its reliability and versatility as a utility vehicle, and with features such as its punchy 700cc fuel injected motor, automatic gear box, and full 4X4 functionality, it is considered the ultimate choice for side-by-side quad buyers.


Available in green and blue, it carries a price tag of R130 000.

New to the Yamaha Rhino range is the "special edition” model with features such as “piggy back” shocks, mag wheels and a fibre glass roof.

Available in metallic silver, the Rhino SE costs R142 479, but numbers are limited.

    Probably cheaper to get a second hand Panda and strip it down, upgrade the shocks and change the final gear ration... LOL i certainly wouldn't pay that price for a quad of any kind!

    The Hisun Rocky is virtually the same with the same engine and R50 000.00 cheaper. the ride quality is also better.
