Bridgestone called on the expertise of its motorcycle tyre adviser to help with transferring the technology it uses in MotoGP to a road tyre that anybody can use.

Rossi said: “When pushing to the limit you learn a lot about everything. Yourself. The bike. The tyre. Sharing my experience, feelings and knowledge from the racetrack is important to those around me, it keeps the technology evolving."

TWISTY CURVES

Bridgestone said Rossi had helped to deliver a tyre that gave class-leading performance and safety as well as greater durability and stability.

In the video Rossi, rides a Yamaha YZF-R1 fitted with S20 EVO tyres through twisty curves and tight S-bends and shows with graphics how the tyre performs on different parts of a racetrack.
