JOHANNESBURG - A provisional calendar for the recently announced National Motorcycle championship, SuperGP Champions Trophy 2014, has been announced.
There will be eight rounds for the headline SuperGP and Super600 categories and seven for the rest.
The eighth and final round at Phakisa Freeway will also host the South African round of the World Superbike championship with SuperGP and Super600 the only national supporting categories.
PREPARE FOR FUN
The SuperGP Champions Trophy will be promoted and managed by GAS Sports (a South African company) and the race meeting format will be similar to the World Superbike championship.

March 15/16: Phakisa Freeway, Free State
April 26/27: Red Star Raceway, Mpumalanga
May 17/18: Killarney, Cape Town
June 14/15: East London, Eastern Cape
July 26/27: Aldo Scribante, Eastern Cape
August 23/24: Durban*, KwaZulu-Natal
September 13/14: Zwartkops Raceway, Gauteng
October 18/19: Phakisa Freeway, Free State
