MILAN, Italy – Pirelli, to celebrate the success of its Diablo motorcycle performance tyres on road and track and its renewed role as World Superbike championship tyre supplier, has launched a free peformance application for iPhones.
The 'app' is free and full of useful functions to get the most out of the GPS tracking technology of Apple’s iPhone 4 for immediate feedback on your rides.

Riders can measure their performance and discover everything from lean angle to your cornering speed without having to buy or mount expensive equipment on the motorcycle. Pirelli says it's like having a transponder and GPS tracking device right in the palm of your hand.
Run your own bike or tyre test with this user-friendly statistical data tool for comparing results. Visualize your favourite or best lap on the circuit, or a recent road ride, then upload it to share on Facebook directly from the phone.
Download it for free and you'll have available:
• Choice between road or track mode.
• Bike telemetry data recording.
• Lean angle measured using GPS tracking technology.
• Measure speed, distance and lap time during track sessions.
• Display recorded sessions via Google Maps.

The Diablo Super Biker app is currently compatible with iPhone 4 and requires iOS 4.2 or later. It is now available on Apple’s App Store in five languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
