COLOGNE, Germany - The Intermot International Motorcycle Show in Cologne opened its doors this week while German was celebrating its national "Unity Day" holiday so the crowds rolled in.

At an equally packed media conference Ducati presented the new-for-2013 Monster Anniversary as well as new Diavel colours and the stunning 1199 Panigale RS13 intended for next year's World Superbike championship but the focus of the adventure-driven German public visiting the Ducati stand was definitely the new Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo.
LATEST BRAKES
The model attracted considerable interest in its long-distance ergonomics and enhanced luggage capacity as well as design features such as the pinch-and-slide adjustable info screen and diode lighting.
The innovative and comfort-enhancing Ducati Skyhook Suspension and Ducati safety pack of latest generation anti-lock brakes and traction control - as fitted to all 2013 S models - were also well received and look set to continue the Multistrada's impressive success.
