The winner will be announced later in July, so check back with Wheels24 to find out which bike will claim the 2013 crown.

Wheels24 readers shared their thoughts on which bike would claim the SA BotY title:

Tim Young: "My pick would be the KTM 1190"

Fred de Hoog lists his top three:
1 Honda NC700X auto – best bike overall due to excellent consumption, ride height, seating/position, weight, build quality and price.
2 BMW R1200GS – still the best 2x2xfar
3 Triumph Trophy – sumptuous!

Reader Anton de Bruyn's top bike picks:
1 Honda NC700X auto - scores top marks for price, quality and 'one-bike-for-all-uses'
