Two-wheeler fans who already have their tickets to the 2012 AMiD motorcycle show could be in for a big surprise… One lucky visitor could ride off on a brand new KTM!
Visitors to August's AMiD motorcycle show who complete the entry form at the KTM stand will have a chance to win a new KTM 125 Duke (plus helmet and goggles) worth more than R40 000.
LIGHTWEIGHT BUT QUALITY
KTM South Africa’s managing director Franziska Brandl said: “This is a motorcycle for the young and young-at-heart. It's recently-launched among the popular Duke range and is the first 125cc KTM for the road. It's light at 125kg, but high on quality.
“It is powered by a single-cylinder 125cc, fuel-injected engine developing 10.9kW that is mated to a six-speed gearbox for exceptional performance.”
10 finalists will be selected for each of the show days and the draw for the winner of the KTM 125 Duke will be made on the Sunday afternoon (August 26).
As well as the competition prize, KTM will display its full range of on and off-road motorcycles on its stand.
THREE FOR PRICE OF ONE
Show manager Philip Otto said: “We are delighted that KTM has arranged this lucky draw for a visitor to win a highly-rated motorcycle. It’s a good example of the wonderful support the upcoming show is enjoying from the exhibitors.
“Most of the AMiD members have already committed to displaying their products and we are also going to have several non-AMiD brands on show, making it the largest exhibition in 2012 for motorcycles and quads,” he added.
The 2012 AMiD motorcycle show will be held at the Nasrec Expo Centre from August 24-26. It will be co-hosted with the Johannesburg Boat, and Outdoor Lifestyle shows and all ticket-holders will qualify for the competition.
Tickets cost R60 and provide admission to all three shows. Gates open at 10am.
