Husqvarna gets racy with Moab

Meet the racy Husqvarna Concept Moab, a fresh interpretation of the traditional scrambler and one which successfully captures what Husqvarna is all about.

Tradition, style, performance. The three features that best capture the identity and have shaped the history of the Husqvarna brand according to the company. They also formed the cornerstone on which the company created all its off-road bikes in the 1960s and ’70s.

TRACING ITS ORIGINS

“The Husqvarna Moab can trace its origins  to our models from that period, legendary bikes that are milestones in the history of off-road biking, especially in the US,” the bikemaker says.

“This is one reason for the name Moab, after the evocative desert in Utah which every year draws huge numbers of off-road bikers and provides the eerie background for the sets of many cult movies."

OFF-ROAD KNOBBLIES: It's what the Moab is all about and continues the off-road tradtiion.

The model’s red tank, comfortable seat and yellow number holders not only recall these old-school scramblers, but also add a fresh and modern twist.

The bike has a 650cc engine on a perimeter frame and a progressive linkage on the swing arm. It rides on 17" wheels and the tyres are semi-knobbly which equips it suitably for off-road use.
