Honda makes pole at Motegi

MOTEGI, Japan - Australian Moto GP World championship leader Casey Stoner will start on pole in Sunday's Motorcycle GP of Japan after recording the fastest time in qualifying on Saturday.

The Honda rider, winner here in 2010 on a Ducati, came in clear of reigning World champion Jorge Lorenzo on a Yamaha and fellow Honda rider Andrea Dovizioso.
