Suzuki’s 2013 RM-Z450 has been developed with the help of Suzuki factory riders from around the world and features a number of major updates for improved handling and performance.
It has a new piston that is 13% lighter, while the conrod is reshaped and lighter too and apparently allow for faster and smoother throttle responses.
MORE RIGID CHASSIS
To deal with the increase in power, the chassis has been stiffened while new Showa SFF front forks provide improved damping and better ride control, Suzuki said.
Suzuki Great Britain’s George Cheeseman said: "Following continued worldwide race development at the hands of Suzuki’s factory riders, the RM-Z450 has undergone some major changes, increasing the power and enhancing the handling.”
