Always wanted to own a turbocharged flat-four Scooby bike? No, we’re not referring to the Kickboxer fantasy concept bike that we featured on Wheels24 towards the end of last year.
The home-built motorcycle is currently for sale on eBay UK for the princely sum of R24 000 and is powered courtesy of a turbocharged flat-four 2l Subaru Impreza engine.
According to the seller the project is “essentially finished” though the bike will still require some work before it will be road legal and the gearbox also needs some attention. “When it was working, the bike, despite its size, trundles along in perfect balance, and you don’t notice the weight,” he adds.
Judging by the eBay listing it would appear the only reason why the seller is getting rid of the bike is not because he has come to his senses but because he's moving house. “I will no longer be able to provide a home for this amazing machine,” he explains, “here’s hoping you can”.
Is that R25 000 I hear from from the gentleman in the back row?
