Two-wheeler gets bullish with Taurus concept.
This must be one of the sleekest concepts we have seen in a long time. Designed by Erik Lanuza the Taurus takes the basic concept of a Segway and transforms it into a much better looking two-wheeler with bags more street cred.
What appeals to us most about the Taurus is its sleek, elegant lines. There is also the bonus of a seat over traditional Segway models on which the rider is always standing.
Just like a Segway, however, riders use their bodyweight to control the speed of the Taurus electric bike – leaning forward makes it go faster, leaning back brings it to a halt. Its name comes courtesy of its bullhorn-like handles which you use to turn.
The Taurus pitches itself as the solution of clogged-up city streets and limited parking spaces. And if it ever does make the transformation from concept to reality, it may well be one of coolest solutions around.
