Jozi biker clocked at 234km/h

JOHANNESBURG - A 49-year-old biker was arrested for speeding on the N1 near the Maraisburg offramp, reports Johannesburg metro police.

The biker caught racing at 234km/h on a green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.

Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said: "He was caught doing 234km/h on his green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle this afternoon.

"He had also covered the two letters of his number plate with black tape in a bid to avoid being caught on speed camera."

He was expected to appear in Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on September 3.

    Incomplete story, Did they use the etoll gantries to catch him or a faster car/bike?

    how did they know he taped the number-plate...maybe he was taping it so that it wouldn't fall off at 234 Km/ hour ...
