Honda halts Thailand production

Honda has suspended its motorcycle production line in Bangkok, following political turmoil in the Thailand capital.

According to a Honda spokesperson the company will evaluate the situation on a daily basis and decide whether it will resume operation.

The motorcycle manufacturing plant is situated in a Bangkok suburb. Its closure follows the recent suspension of a Honda car manufacturing plant in Ayutaya. Honda has also closed its office in Bangkok.
