Erik Buell has posted a photo on the company’s Facebook page pointing to a near production-ready version of the company’s first road bike – the highly anticipated EBR 1190RS.
Shortly after revealing the teaser on Facebook the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum announced that Erik Buell will be the featured guest at its annual Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser on 11 March 2011.
“For me, motorcycling has always been about the journey, about the people, about the ideas behind the machines, and it will be great to connect with enthusiasts at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser,” Buell said about the event. “And who knows? I may have a surprise or two to announce by then.”
It certainly appears that the unveiling of the EBR 1190RS is imminent. The official launch will likely take place at the Daytona Bike Week which starts on March 4, but it could make its first public appearance as early as the Dealer Expo on February 18, 2011.
