The new special edition BMW R 1200 GS Triple Black should soon make many riders’ wishes come true.
Triple Black is a visual feast of black, if that's your thing. The tank and front wheel covers are finished in sapphire black and the fork and engine in a “contrasting” plain black serve highlight the masculinity of the large touring enduro.
The colour scheme is further highlighted by the metallic asphalt grey of the swinging arm, rear frame and cylinder head covers. Triple Black’s look is completed with a new black seat with GS moulding on the side.
The new BMW R1200 GS and its sister model the R1200 GS Adventure feature a new DOHC boxer engine lifted from the BMW HP2 Sport.
It delivers 82kW at 7750rpm and 120Nm at 6000 and the new tourers, like their predecessors, provide a great balance for both on- and off-road riding.
The R 1200 GS Triple Black is available to order from BMW Motorrad dealers with immediate effect. Price: Around R154 000.
