Another biker killed at Sepang

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Another motorcycle racer has been killed by a crash on the track, Sepang, that claimed the life of MotoGP star Marco Simoncelli in 2011.

This time a race marshal, Satish Suppiav, also died - and the 2013 Malaysian MotoGP is looming.

Rider Mohamad Izzat died on Wednesday from injuries suffered in a weekend crash at the circuit whose management later said
the crash was on Saturday during practice for the Malaysian Super Series.

PLAQUE LAID

Simoncelli was killed by a multiple-bike crash during the October 2011 Malaysian MotoGP and a plaque was later laid at the curve where it happened.

That incident prompted the circuit to undertake a safety review of a track known to be notoriously tricky.

This year's GP will be on October 13.
