Bernard Hellberg Jnr, SAGMJ Chairman and COTY convenor, said: “As the only competition of its kind in South Africa, the annual WesBank South African Car of the Year contest has been proudly managed by the South African Guild of Motoring Journalists with support from our loyal partners for 31 years.

"It is therefore with pride, but also with gratitude, that we welcome AutoTrader as a secondary sponsor after our naming sponsor WesBank for the 2017 South African Car of the Year competition.

“With AutoTrader, the largest and most successful online vehicle buying and selling platform in South Africa, as a partner, we are excited about the prospects for the latest competition, and we look forward to working with the professional team from AutoTrader in marketing this historically important and esteemed Guild event.”
