Chrysler’s accessories arm Mopar has launched a new off-road grade trailer for Jeep owners with supplemental luggage requirements.
Jeep’s Wrangler range hardly lacks for off-road ability.
There are times though, when trail-driving with the entire family (and associated goodies), where the Wrangler’s luggage capacity is stretched beyond its limit.
As a solution to this state of affairs Mopar has developed a new Jeep Extreme Trail Edition Camper.
Simply put – it is a very tough off-road graded trailer.
Riding atop a heavy-duty frame the Jeep Extreme Trail Edition Camper connects via a heavy-duty tow-hitch (sporting a 360-degree rotation axis).
In terms of off-road capability it sports a full-underbody skid plate and rolls 890mm tall tyres BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tyres.
Suffice to say, you are hardly going to break it trailing the Wrangler across severely broken terrain.
From a utility perspective the Jeep Extreme Trail Edition Camper features a 110V inverter, foldable bed and is claimed to sleep (very snugly) up to four people.
