"I don't know anything about saving worlds, but you do," Deadpool exclaims at Wolverine in the new trailer for their upcoming film.
Deadpool & Wolverine, the third instalment of the franchise, releases in theatres on 26 July 2024 and stars Ryan Reynolds, who reprises his role as the fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero, and Hugh Jackman, returning as the iconic X-Men mutant.
In the trailer, Deadpool recruits an ageing Wolverine for an important mission. The film will introduce the duo to the Marvel Cinematic Universe; they meet the Time Variance Authority (TVA), which is in charge of the multi-verse.
The TVA was initially introduced in the series Loki.

The teaser promises bloody action, self-referential gags and Marvel fan service.
The film also features Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Its first trailer was released during the Super Bowl and scored "365 million views in 24 hours, which makes it the most-viewed movie trailer of all time", according to Disney.
The record was previously held by another Marvel title, Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), which amassed 355.5 million online views within the first 24 hours of its release, according to Variety.
Jackman's last role as Wolverine was in the 2017 film Logan, which was a cinematic send-off for the character in the X-Men franchise.
