The all-new Ford Territory has gone on sale locally and signals the automaker's re-entry into the five-seater SUV segment, with a vehicle offering space, comfort, and smart technologies.

The C-SUV segment is the fastest-growing segment of the South African market, representing 12.7% of the new car market, which means one in every 10 cars sold in South Africa is a C-SUV. 

Ford has historically been present in the compact SUV segment with models like the EcoSport and Kuga, but following the discontinuation of those derivatives, it was left with a void in its line-up.
